One of the biggest benefits of book clubs, particularly for those wanting to get back into reading, is that book clubs help keep you accountable to actually read. By joining a book club, you’re committing to read the book of a month (or week, etc.). One important impact in our club is the social interactions that are fostered. Our Book Club occurs on Zoom at least three times a year, for a four to five week period with questions. Please join us.

We have a dedicated team that strives to create events throughout the year that offer fun and fellowship to both the congregation and the community. You do not have to be a seasoned gardener, or a gardener at all, to join our Garden Team. The aim is to make and keep the church property attractive. Tend the flowers and keep the weeds as minimal as possible. Gardening is wonderfully therapeutic and relaxing. Join us!

To be a greeter is a privilege and joy to serve God and his church. This is a gift of hospitality. As a greeter you welcome members and visitors to church. Greeters are the first contact people have on entering the church, they give the first impression. They also seek to connect with people who attend.

Greeters hand out bulletins, collect the offering, and direct the congregants for communion. There are currently four teams with two to three persons on each team. Each team will greet at least once a month.

Can you sing or are learning to. Join our choir and help lead in worship each Sunday, and at special services. We love to sing.

Do you play an instrument? Any instrument. You are welcome to join us and share your talents. Join us for a musical time of worship and ingagement.

The Outreach Team partners with local organizations - Delta Family Resource Centre, Ernestine's Women's Shelter, Youth Without Shelter and Thistletown Lions Club to support those in need. Through year-round efforts like food drives, school supply donations, used eyeglasses and holiday initiatives, we provide essentials and hope to our community. Together, we make a meaningful impact!

Join us on Tuesdays at 1:15 pm for chair and low impact exercises for anyone who has reached “Freedom 55”. Modified exercises for those who may have shoulder or knee issues and exercise at your own pace. The class runs for 45 minutes and is led by a qualified Specialty Fitness Instructor. Suggested donation $1 - $5. No one will be turned away. Let’s get active!
